Ball transfer units in turned steel machined from bar

Housing made of turned steel, machined from bar and hardened, to grant high load capacity and better wear resistance.

Reinforced cover made of turned steel, except for SP 8 and SP 12, which have cover made of pressed metal sheet. The SP 15 with flange is available with cover in both versions.

Felt seal: starting from the size “22” all these ball transfer units are provided with oiled felt seal to reduce the possible introduction of impurities, dirt and chips. The versions “BD” and “XD” are provided without felt seal. On request, all ball transfer units can be supplied without felt seal or with dry felt seal.

All versions are provided with dirt exit hole on the bottom of the housing to allow the drain of impurities.

The version without flange is normally used in applications where a minimal protrusion from work-top is required.
