Our production of ball transfer units in turned steel from bar ranges from the smallest size which is represented by the “SP 8” to the biggest size which is the “SP 90”. The size refers to the diameter of the main ball.
In the specific case of the ball transfer unit “SP 8”, the main ball has therefore a diameter of 8 mm and can be in different materials: chrome steel, stainless steel Aisi 420 C or plastic material. The choice of the main ball varies according to the use intended for the ball transfer unit and it involves a different load capacity (see technical datasheets).
According to the picture, besides the standard version, the ball transfer unit in solid steel “SP 8” is available with threaded shank M6X15; we can also carry out threaded shanks in different sizes considering a minimum production lot based on the required specifications.
