Effeciesse has joined also this year the “school and work” alternating project and we had therefore the pleasure to “host” a student in our company during the summer time.
Mattia, who now attends the 5th class of the vocational study course “mechanical and mechatronics”, at the upper Secondary School “I.I.S. Jean Monnet” in Mariano Comense, has accomplished his internship path “PCTO (school and work alternating program) at Effeciesse, staying in the company for 4 weeks.
In the specific, he had assisted in the various phases of machinery setting up and working process in our turning department, consolidating the school knowledge as for dimensional control procedures and using the apposite measuring instruments.
Focusing on young generations and support them is the best investment for the future: help young people, providing the necessary knowledge to enhance their talent and abilities and supporting them in achieving the proper skills for the future working paths is for sure a “winning strategy “in a far-sighted vision.
Business concerns need school, above all they need schools “educate” young people by stimulating their “curiosity”, critical sense and creative attitude.
From one side, it is important to train good technicians, capable and competent, granting them a professional future and allowing a generational change within production companies. At the same time, it is equally important the growth and enrichment of young people under the human aspect: this in order to help them to find the proper professional collocation and, why not, to became on their turn future entrepreneurs.
Exactly as business concerns need school, the school needs the support of companies available to “host” students and assist them in their professional growth path.
It is fundamental for students to be able to approach production environments, enter the business world and experience not only the different manufacturing stages, but also the organization aspects and various management dynamics.
As conclusion of the staging period, the company has delivered to Mattia a “certificate” attesting his commitment, seriousness and inclination to learn and confirming the good school preparation.
Once more, it has been a positive experience also for our company, since the “meeting” with young people is always constructive for both parties.
We wish Mattia to continue successfully his training and growth path.
